The Use of Positive Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements which focus awareness on the ability to create what you desire or feel you need.

  1. Affirmation Cards close upAffirmations are always personal and in the present tense, e.g. “I am calm”, “I am feeling peace” and focus on the “I am.”
  2. It has been found that Affirmations selected by the user have a greater effect, as the statements feel more natural and meaningful. It is important to only use Affirmations that feel appropriate to you.
  3. Affirmations with simple, positive thoughts, are key components to working with the Colour Breathing Disks in the CBRT technique.
  4. The CBRT Affirmation Cards provide individuals with choice as to which affirmations they use during their CBRT Relaxation Support Session.
