Alison Bourne is the author and inventor of Colour Breathing. She is trained as a holistic therapist and has led meditation and personal development groups for more than fifteen years. Her aim is to simply help people help themselves using Colour Breathing so they feel able to control any stress in their lives. Her varied work agenda now takes her all over the world, working with individual and corporate clients.
Now totally dedicated to the growth of Colour Breathing, she has in the past specialised in Palliative care, including working as the Aromatherapist at her local hospice for six years. Alison has been associated with The International Association of Colour, The Association of Reflexologists, The International Federation of Aromatherapists, The British Complementary Association and The National Federation of Spiritual Healers. She is now the current Chairperson of The International Association of Colour Breathing Practitioners.
Colour Breathing has been featured in both the national and international press, including The Mail on Sunday YOU Magazine, Sarah Stacey Health Notes, Healthy Magazine, Positive Health, Today's Therapist, Breathe Magazine and Spa Magazine. Alison Bourne has appeared on BBC Radio Four and regional radio stations. She has written numerous pieces for several magazines and will shortly become a regular columnist for a national magazine.
Alison has also created the Publishing House "Energy Press" which is a member of the UK Publishers Association. She is a Director of the Worldwide Colour Breathing Company Limited.
The mission and goal of WCBC Ltd is to bring Colour Breathing into worldwide acceptance as being "a valuable tool for self-help and relaxation for all ages". With Colour Breathing now being accepted as a complementary therapy in its own right, and a member of the BCMA (British Complementary Medicine Association), the next stage of growth for the therapy is bringing the Practitioner Training Programme to the worldwide market via international franchise opportunities >
